Happy Labor Day Y’all!
In this post I decided to share a quick and easy Labor Day meal!
You will need a Pork Shoulder, washed and seasoned. I just used salt and pepper, easy peasy!
Then you will wrap it with foil, and place in the oven at 325 degrees. This pork shoulder was about nine and a half pounds, so it cooked for about six and a half hours.
It’s so tender you can pull it apart with a fork.
After you’ve pulled your meat apart, put it in a separate dish.
Then add the barbecue sauce of your choice. We prefer mustard-based!
Mix up your pulled pork with the barbecue sauce of your choice.
Then you will place about three or four potatoes on a cutting board, after you’ve washed them.
After you’ve peeled, cut, and washed your potatoes, place them in a separate bowl, and prepare to deep fry them.
You’ve made a super easy and delicious Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwich, with home fries. Feel free to add corn and pickles, or whatever tickles your fancy!
Hope y’all have a wonderful and safe Labor Day!
Remember ya’ll not everyone in the South eats fried chicken, but if you fry it just right. We won’t turn it down!
