Happy Tuesday Y’all!
I cannot believe that Christmas is in a week and my Christmas party is quickly approaching! I’m really excited to celebrate the holidays with family and friends. Many of our posts have been holiday centered and this one is no different. In this post I wanted to share some outdoor decor ideas. Although my decorations have been up, it’s been raining and I was unable to take pictures. Thankfully, the rain has finally stopped and I’m finally able to share this post with y’all.
Here is the complete picture of my home, keep scrolling as I describe my decorations.
This is the snowman that is on my front door. I made by using three different sized wreaths that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I spray painted them white to give the impression of a snowman. Then I purchased some fabric and I made his boots and hat and stuffed them with poly-fil, which is just premium polyester. I used red ribbon for his scarf and then I wrapped him in lights.
I found these pre-lit wreaths from JcPenny and placed them on my windows. I purchased these large pre-made, red, and sparkly bows from Hobby Lobby.
I have five life-size Elves on the Shelf that I made because I was unable to find large ones. In this post Believe in the Magic of Christmas: How to Make a Life-Size Elf on the Shelf, I provide a step-by-step guide of how to make a life-size elf.
Hope Ya’ll enjoyed this post, if you have questions feel free to leave them in the comment section.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
Remember ya’ll not everyone in the South eats fried chicken, but if you fry it just right. We won’t turn it down!
