It’s the holiday season and it’s time for some really good indoor Christmas decor ideas. It’s about 28 days until Christmas I have started decorating, full steam ahead. I wanted my theme for my fireplace to be really beautiful and classic. I decided to take a more minimalistic approach because I have so many Christmas decorations in and around my house.
First, I started with a green wreath, just above the mantle with red balls, berries, and a beautiful red bow, I found this great Merry Christmas sign from Hobby Lobby. In the south Hobby Lobby is the place for nearly anything you want to find if you’re creative. Jennifer and I are in there so often the employees literally know us when we walk through the door. Honestly, it’s the best place and it’s very budget friendly.
My Bare Fireplace
Before you can begin to decorate anything, you need to clean your area. This is a picture of my mantle, I had to remove everything and remember to wipe it down as well.

Next, I began covering my mantle with greenery that I found at Hobby Lobby, along with some white lights. I started from left to right to build my beautiful Christmas look. I wanted something eye-catching, so I used white candle holders. I placed three little white doves on the candleholders, and then I surrounded them with red berries.
In the middle I found these two beautiful, silver, and glittery reindeer also from Hobby Lobby. I knew I just had to have them I added red bows and in between them I placed a clear vase, that I filled with silver balls, and stems of silver, sparkly berries.
To finish my mantle, I wanted to add a splash of color. I found this Fa La La La La sign, at Hobby Lobby of course, and it just screams Christmas. In order to tie everything together, I added red and silver berries along with red glittery balls, throughout the mantle.
On the floor I added several Christmas signs, in the corner. Then I placed a lit green present with a red bow on the other side. I also have my seven foot pencil tree, that I decorated with silver ornaments and topped with a red and silver bow.
Merry Christmas Y’all!
