Statement sleeves, are one of the hottest trends that’s happening right now and I wanted to dedicate an entire post to them. I feel like over the past couple of years bold, voluminous, and stylish sleeves have once again began to emerge on the fashion scene.
They’re truly taking over, these embellished sleeves were so insanely popular in the 1970’s and they’re back with a vengeance. I’m a huge lover of flamboyant and fashion- forward clothes, so the statement sleeve trend is one that I’m completely embracing without hesitation.

Statement Sleeves: One of the Hottest Trends
First, of all these Pepper Bell Sleeves or Fluted Sleeves are EVERYTHING!! I love this dress because I feel like a woman should always be bold, confident, and fearless. This red dress truly encapsulates that belief, because the color is bold and one must be confident and fearless to wear this dress. This red boat neck body-con dress features; an embedded floral design, long pepper bell sleeves, and a scoop back, can be found here.
Accessories
I’ve paired this dress with my red and leopard print pony hair Jessica Simpson platform. I’ve had them for a few years now, so they may be difficult to find. However, I was able to find a pair of red Jessica Simpson platforms, which can be found here. Lastly, I chose my red mini bag, that I purchased from Nordstrom during last summer.
