In this post, I’m going to demonstrate how I’m wearing one of the hottest trends of Spring 2019, Paper Bag Shorts. The Paper Bag Waist trend is certainly nothing new, but it is a trend that’s definitely here to stay. This look has become popular with skirts, pants, shorts, and now you’re seeing it more with denim. Every fashionista should have a version of this look because it’s chic, fashionable, and comfortable. It’s the perfect trend for any woman of any size, because of its relaxed and loose fit. You can truly dress the paper bag waist look up or down and you will look amazing.

How to Wear Paper Bag Shorts
I decided to pair another hot trend of Spring 2019 a crop top with my high-waist paper bag shorts. This white off-the-shoulder Sweet Dirt woven peasant crop top; features puffy sleeves, and it’s a chic piece for spring, and can be found here. This crop top is fashion forward, because of its embellished sleeves. It’s made of cotton fabric, which can easily combat the heat and humidity of the south.
I chose to pair my off-the-shoulder white crop top, with a pair of navy and white pinstripe high-waisted paper bag shorts, and they can be found here. Paper bag shorts are a great look for spring and summer because of their loose fit. Which is extremely convenient because as the weather gets hotter, you don’t want to always wear tight and constricted clothing. If you decide to embrace the paper bag waist look, remember to wear a form fitting top or a crop top. Since the paper bag waist is more of a relaxed fit, you’ll want to balance out the look.
I chose to accessorize my outfit with a white mini bag, mini bags are here stay. If you don’t have one find one, they’re so fashionable! I found this bag at Nordstrom and it’s unfortunately sold out, but similar versions can be found here and here. Lastly, I chose to complete my look with a pair of navy suede, Gianni Bini Lace-up studded platforms. I’ve had them for a few years, but you can find similar ones here and here.
