Happy Monday Everyone!
If you’re anything like me, then you enjoy a good party. I have always enjoyed hosting parties or events. Every year I have a Christmas party, which you can read about here. I believe that the key to any successful party, is the food. If the food isn’t good, the party is an automatic failure. I love to cook and love making everything homemade. For my parties I usually host about 35-40 people in my home. So it’s imperative that I have enough food and I have to make sure that it’s delicious.
The best and easiest meats to serve at a party are; Southern Style hot wings, barbecue pulled pork, and homemade pepper meatballs. These meats are easy to make and they are absolutely delicious. They will be a huge hit any party that you host.
The southern style hot wings, is an easy and simple recipe because you’re not required to flour your wings. You simply fry them and place them in the oven with your choice of barbecue sauce and hot sauce. Place them in the oven on 350 degrees for about 5 minutes. Your wings are already done, so don’t leave them in any longer. They’re placed in the oven, in order to get a nice sear on them. The full recipe for the hot wings can be found here. here.
I chose barbecue pulled pork, because it’s amazing. I live in the south, of course I’m having pulled pork at any party that I have. I use pork shoulder and I also use a vinegar based barbecue sauce. The full recipe for the amazing and delicious pulled pork can be found here.
Lastly, I like to serve homemade pepper meatballs, I don’t like store bought meatballs they never taste good. You can also put them in crockpot, in order for them to slow cook. They are also very inexpensive, you can make a great deal of them. It’s the perfect dish to serve to your guests. The full recipe can be found here.
These are my go to meats to serve anytime I have a party. They’re super easy to make and they’re extremely delicious!
I hope everyone enjoyed this post!
Feel free to leave a comment and I hope y’all are having a wonderful holiday season so far!
Remember y’all not everyone in the South eats fried chicken, but if you fry it just right. We won’t turn it down!
