  • 2 sticks of unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  •  3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  •  3/4 teaspoon of baking soda

  • First, I'm going to cut my 2 sticks of cold unsalted butter into small cubes, then place them in a  bowl.
  • Next, add 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of white sugar into the bowl with your chopped butter.
  • Then, add 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla until the mixture is completely creamy.
  • After your mixture is creamy add in 2 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, and 3/4 teaspoon of salt.
  • Continue to stir until all of your ingredients are fully mixed together.
  • Then, add 1 cup of chocolate chips and fold them into your mixture.
  • Once you've folded in your chips,  feel free to add more chocolate chips if you desire.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and then use a spoon or an ice cream scoop to place your dough onto parchment paper.
  • Place your chocolate chip cookies into the oven for about 8-11 minutes or until the edges are a light golden brown.
  • Allow your cookies to cool on a baking sheet.

Now that we've finally finished baking, it's time to pour ourselves a nice glass of cold milk and enjoy these scrumptious chocolate chip cookies!
